Josh, Crystal, & 800+ acres of sunrise awesome this morning that we took pictures. It was kind of really amazing!
If you've had a drink or two in the past you probably catch the first part as part of a toast. If not then you're not rolling your eyes at me going "wow he went there". So "Here's to space!" This vast space that 2 people can somehow find each other in. The space that can single 2 people out and showcase just them. The space that can be made for the love(sentimental eh....). The space on your wall where an image like this deserves to be showcased in all of it's "epic landscape and love" poetry. I(Mike) shoot what I like to call.......wait for it........Big Shots. Yea I know, it could've been something like cinematic but I want to keep it simple and simply say what it is. A big shot that has Crystal and Josh at center of the picture looking at each other. They could be whispering the dirty things you and I just don't need to hear. They could be "hatin'" on each other. Doesn't matter. It's a big shot with one simple and singular message. The image and world surrounds them, if only for one moment. That is what matters. So...
HERES TO SPACE!
So let me preface this by saying that my parents, there is no wedding album. I'm not sure I can really even find any wedding pictures. If I remember correctly there might be a 20 minute video that my Dad and Stepmother purchased. It was watched once and it's on a video tape. Good luck on finding a way to view that now days. This post is something that many photographers have used for themselves and they should. I know I am. The quoted passage below rings true on so many different levels and it brings to the fold a view that not only the photographers can relate with but clients and friends and families can equally relate to as well. So please take a moment, really read the words, and think about the next session or better yet, the wedding you have.
First easter at the new place. It's nice being able to host.
Thats a lie! It's great to not have to load and unload a million kids. :-)
So we've never done this before but figured that we could give it a shot! Today marks the 1 year mark for Sam & Korrie. I could show all the images but to suffice I figured I would just choose a few to give them their due. Congrats on the first of many years to go guys! We loved shooting your wedding and love you 2 in general.
We're always blessed to have such great clients and more over, friends!
If you want more you can check out all post related to the awesome human specimen below!!! :x)
